Stephen is a California native and moved from NorCal to San Diego over ten years ago looking for a new adventure.
Stephen first attended Mesa College with a focus in nutrition, but after a few classes, he realized that it wasn’t his true passion. As a lifelong Interior Design lover, Stephen decided to enroll in the Interior Design program and after receiving his first assignment to hand-sketch a room, he knew he’d found his calling. Stephen quickly took to the technical side of the field and thoroughly enjoys the drawing & drafting process. He is skilled in turning a simple sketch into a beautiful rendering that allows clients to see their design come to life. He loves the process of taking a space that isn’t working for a client and turning it into something that is completely different and more functional and beautiful than before. Stephen also loves being able to suggest solutions or ideas that clients may have never even thought of before.
After receiving his Associate Degree in Interior Design, Stephen spent 6 years freelance designing for friends and family while working for a custom cabinetry firm where he learned the ins and outs of cabinet fabrication, design and installation.
In his spare time, you can find Stephen planning his next international getaway, playing music in his band or spending time with family & friends.
